Only skin deep.....

With a little bit of peeling, coring, removing bruises and slicing, these windfalls will make a delicious pie or crumble filling. Even a chutney, though we haven't tried that yet. We have been collecting them from the garden each day and now there are a good few to deal with. And so autumn is really on it's way!

I went into school today and did the jobs I would normally have done immediately term ended, only we went away on holiday straight away. I have come home with more filing! Hoping there is something on television worth watching this evening while I tackle it.
