Water of Leith walk

Walking by the Water of Leith today from home to Newhaven. Spotted this heron in a tree at Warriston.

My better half and I were discussing doing another walking Marathon next year, so we thought we'd be well advised to start getting a few walks in. By the time we looped round and back via one of the old railway paths, we'd walked over 9 miles. A reasonable start.
