Decayed Beauty

I found this beautifully preserved, decayed, rose when I went in to the Summer House (shed) this morning. I must have cut it some time ago with the intention of photographing it but got distracted and left it there to dry and decay. Even in this state I think it has a certain grace and beauty all of its own and so, finally, it becomes my Blip of the day.
