Temple Time - Angkor

Loaded with our 3 day temple pass, we hit the temples hard. This is Victory Gate entrance to Angkor Thom.

Stretching over some 400 km2, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire, from the 9th to the 15th century. The area consists of scores of temples, hydraulic structures (basins, dykes, reservoirs, canals) as well as communication routes... all of which we will try and see in 3 days!
