Roses--with Fly

Very much an end-of summer blip. And a convenience one, as we're preparing for a bit of a trip (stay tuned till tomorrow)--note that the shadow even caught the fly.

These blooms are at the very top of the bush (and are beginning to fade, I know). The bush is in our landscaping (next to the stairs to our front porch--hence the diagonal shadow); it has had at least three sequential sets of flowers during the summer. I've added it to my shadows series.

An excellent meeting of my photography club tonight (PVPA)--including new members with really interesting approaches.
