Franklin Falls

I used to be an avid hiker and hiked this two mile hike quite a bit with my family...when my son was younger and then with many other friends. It's maybe an hours drive very nice to get out in wilderness so quickly and smell that evergreen richness! Due to all the knee and feet issues over the past few years hiking has been out of the question. Just this past November I thought I'd never walk much or hike ever again. But vigilance and a super guy who has worked these past months with weekly apts. on my legs and feet and arm have worked miracles.

Today I celebrated with a hike to this very special favorite place of mine ...hiked with a dear friend and we both felt refreshed and revived getting out on the trail again. Afterwards, my feet had a good double soaking in epson salts, but that's just fine. I know I'm on the road to recovery and more trails in the future!!!!
