Lucky Dad
My daughter knew I would be on the beach so rang me and asked that I bring home sand and lots of broken shells as she was doing a "rubble" challenge rather than the ice bucket challenge...I later had the pleasure of pouring it over her head... This young bird didn't know it wasn't cool or dignified to look at the world upside down and without a care for predators as her mother kept a watchful eye. Later this evening I read this on my daughter's FB page today and thought how lucky am I to have her.....
"Ok I know I look like a nut as I did the challenge with muck basically and the sound is poor . Basically what I said was I didn't do the ice bucket challenge for two reasons: 1- Willow is only a week old so I don't want to get a dose and 2: I gave birth to a baby in a safe environment with no rockets or bombs going going off or landing beside me. This should be the case for every woman worldwide but it is not.Women in Gaza are giving birth in that manner. My children deserve all the basics in life and to not be afraid. EVERY child deserves the right to a good life and the basic right to actually LIVE. Please donate to www.irishredcross.ie/gaza-appeal. Nominated by Shauna O'Shea ッ and nominating Fabrice Folio, Lorna Folio, Ryans Autogarage, , Joy O Brien Ryan, , El Jorgito, Jan-may Alaire and Dominique Hamilton. Do either or challenges. ..ps I had an ice cold shower so basically did both"..... just saying
