A touch of pink

Let me tell you about a lovely little stall we found at last years Carfest called Carte-du-vin. It sold lovely wines (free to taste with a little cheese & biscuits). In fact I liked it so much that not only did we partake in a couple of bottles while we were there on the Sunday evening but I brought a case home.

This year I searched for them on day one. I was delighted they were there again and were just as helpful & stocked with scrummy stuff as last year. I suggested that we might buy a case of their lovely South African rose...chilled and picked up a couple of bottles a night. Marian (one of the owners) thought that was a marvelous idea and was more than happy to oblige.

May I say thank you to these lovely people for making our experience this year far more enjoyable vin-wise. I'm only sad that I finished off the final bottle at home this evening :(
