I surprised Em today with a visit to the shore at Roanhead. She was so excited when she saw the sand and immediately stripped off her shoes and socks. The sandy flats are wide and when we arrived the water was a long way out, white horses visible on the horizon. We explored the smooth oval pebbles and climbed dunes to run and roll down them.
