Charity Shop Thursday

My reasons for volunteering at The Little Shop of Treasures aren't entirely altruistic.

I've been a long time out of an office environment and I wanted to see if I could go back to working with actual people. Volunteering brings all sorts of ages, experience and reasons for being there: learning to be a part of a team again isn't always easy - but it is very worthwhile.

And it's fun too. We laugh a lot in the warren of back rooms behind the clothes rails and book shelves.
