At Sumburgh Head

Spent some time this afternoon revisiting the Visitor Centre at Sumburgh Head. The Centre opened, after a lengthy period of construction and reconstruction, in May and closes for the season at the end of the August.

I was a bit concerned that the development was going to detract from the wildness of the Head and the bird cliffs, but I have been very impressed by the new interpretative elements that have been put in place. I'll be interested to hear how many people have visited over the summer.
