So sad

This is one of the shrines you see popping up where folk die. This one was for a young lad, early 20s, found in the canal at the weekend.

When I snapped this, in the middle of the day, one of his pals was breaking his heart and gulping down a "half bottle of Buckfast." I was trying to see if he was ok but he was inconsolable so I walked on and left him with his thoughts.

My first thought at death would be to go light a candle in the peace and quiet of a church. It's strange how young folk show grief, but quite moving.
