Nature Park

Since we are continuing to enjoy our annual early spring weather, the son and I have been stopping by various parks/playgrounds each day after school this week. Today I got to choose, so we went to the Nature Park in Beaverton:

It's a beautiful secluded natural area in the middle of the Portland suburbs. When you're in the middle of it, you can completely forget you're surrounded by housing developments. My wife, son and I all love to take strolls there on nice days. If you pay enough attention to the undergrowth, you're always likely to see birds, squirrels, snakes and the occasional family of deer.
