Sea of Spartina

Another day, another salt marsh and this time it was full on spartina (For-ground vegetation on photo), a rather invasive salt marsh grass. However I do like the vibrant yellow-green colour of the grass, it does bring a bit of colour to the marshes.

The view of mountains was rather impressive as well, although the sun angle and slight haze meant it wasn't the clearest I've seen them.

Overall it's been a rather pleasant day of sunshine, botanising and not too much walking.
