memories

Today was a day of traveling. 2 hours each way on the train to go to a funeral. A very easy journey on the District line. One of two remaining sisters from my husbands mothers family passed away a couple of weeks ago. Good to catch up with the remaining family. i don't know many of the cousins. It was interesting to see how the town where we spent our youth and half of our married life had changed. it would seem that all of the cousins of our age are now widows. Makes you appreciate each other more.
