Come Play Me

Tuesday is $3-a-pint night at the Green Frog Acoustic Tavern, and I needed a blip. I was also in the mood for a beer, and The Green Frog has twenty-three microbrews on tap -- "No Crap on Tap" is their slogan. There's no better place to go for beer in Bellingham.

The instruments hanging on the wall are available for anyone to play. When the tavern owner, James, applied for a loan to start the business, the total amount included money to buy a jukebox that he'd found for sale. By the time the loan came through, the jukebox had been sold to somebody else, so James used the money to buy the instruments.

There's more to tell about the Frog, but I'll save that for another blip.
