Tyred!

Our day was hijacked by a piece of metal getting stuck in a tyre. It sounded like a horse was running alongside the car and so we realised pretty quickly that we had picked up a foreign object. The tyre replacement necessitated both rear tyres being replaced which was an unforseen expense but probably does make us safer on the roads for the winter.
Luckily this cafe was 20 minutes walk away so we were able to wait in comfort while the tyre replacement took place.
