Looking Pretty For The Judge.

Well I thought this Shetland pony looked lovely, but I expect the judge had to take other things into consideration!

In the beautiful setting shown on yesterday's blip, we were ready for the visitors to Keswick Agricultural Show. They were willing to come to an out-of-town location either by car, or the special bus to this new site. It was extremely well attended.

We had a lot of people through our marquee and we talked a lot. We had to disappoint one customer:

"Have you a card with something red on it?
"Yes, a red tulip!"
"Mmmm, no!"
"A bed of red tulips, perhaps?"
"No"
"Oh! I have a red rose!"
"No. It doesn't have to be flowers, a field with poppies in it would do."
