Chasing The Sky

Meant to be a good chance of aurora tonight.

Unfortunately, just as it was getting dark, the clouds rolled in.

On the way home with the boys, we took a wee detour to a place I have squirrelled away for aurora sightings.

With a bit of imagination, there was a glow on the N/NE horizon but with no tripod, a dying camera battery and loads of clouds, an early night in bed seemed a better idea.

Still, long exposures do bring out some of the light.
