Seed heads

Meetings and interviews all day from early morning, including over lunch, gave little opportunity to take photos.

I thought of photographing the Radio Times and BBC Radio Scotland as I did my first live publicly broadcast interview on Morning Call today.

But on my way home I stopped by Saughton Park. The other evening the place was buzzing in the evening sunshine and tonight even though it was less sunny and it was nearly 8pm there was so much sporting activity going on. I'm not convinced this is a legacy of the Games but good to see.

As I lined up the shot I was attracted to these tall seed heads blowing in the wind. If you peer behind them you can see the spectators.
