Conquered or conkered

A nearby chestnut tree is loaded with conkers but I couldn't seem to get an interesting shot of them. But I love the negative spaces the leaves form and so this substitute seems fine to me.

I couldn't believe how excited I felt yesterday about moving on to the Red Camera, who would have thought such pleasures could be found. I've never written so many comments before, but selfishly they were all on my own site (head hung in shame)
So, thank you all you folk for looking in and being so kind.

Took a friends mum to Fort Kinnaird to look at fridges and freezers. It's quite nice shopping when it's not yourself spending the money. Of course, I went Dutch on the M & S soup etc.
