All in a good cause.

This morning I got a phone call from the Bus Station, could I come down later, and give one of the controllers a lesson on how to use one of our computer systems? It turns out that the guy who taught me originally was on holiday and nobody else has any experience with it. I popped down at about half past eleven and talked him through it.

Then there was some excitement as another of the controllers, Gary, had agreed to do one of these daft ice bucket challenges. He had put notices up on the wall and all members of staff were invited to "buy" buckets of ice water to pour on him. There must have been nine or ten buckets thrown over him by various drivers. It was funny to watch and he was frozen when he got back inside but whatever money was collected would be matched by the company so it's all good.
