Iris

This afternoon we visited some fellow home educators in town who have moved to an old Victorian house. It needs a lot of work doing on it but will be lovely when it's finished.
It was raining when we arrived, getting heavier when we left and was quite torrential as we were driving home. I suggested when it had eased off considerably, that Joseph might like to get out the car and get shot of it going through a big puddle, but he declined. As we were on the home stretch I spotted these Iris outside a rather grand house. I like the the raindrops on the petals.
