A Tartan field
One of my photographic friends came over with her collie this morning, intent on a walk across the fields to the next village. One field was fine, but the other had been recently ploughed and was quite tough to walk across. The texture wasn't too bad, fairly soft so we didn't sink or clag up with clay and not hard, which would have been difficult to walk on.
I noticed one of the fields had a distinctly tartan look to it and wonder if it's owned by a lone Scottish farmer in an English county.
The tea shop wasn't open and nor was the pub.
