the flower's sworly shape seems to confuse the insects - seemingly persuading them to occassionaly explore the long orange pistels, precariously 'hand over hand' in search of the olefactorily overwhelming nectar, they turning, anthropomorphically disgusted once they reach the heavy, unappetising pollen instead.
