back-blip

A very hungover morning for me (ugh!) but I struggled on and made it to Peebles with Mum, Gran and the munchkins. We went to get their feet measured for new shoes. Isaac had a great time, the lady in the shop said she's never seen a child so excited about shoes! He got a smart pair of pale blue and red leather ones and Amelie got new black patent shoes for school and some gym shoes as well. She wasn't keen on the black ones so its a good job we found some white ones that fitted her! Isaac measured in just under a 6F and Amelie a 10G. Afterwards we walked back to the swimming pool and had a splash about in there. I had perked up after a coke but was beginning to feel a bit weary again so we got out and sat outside to have our picnic (it was greggs, and a haggis pie sorted me right out!) Amelie, Mum and Gran went to the park and I had a look round some shops as Isaac was asleep in the carrier. Amelie ended up playing with a little girl whos Granny used to play with my Mum! She had a lovely time.
