Bountiful Harvest...

The Manor Valley had a great lambing season, then a hot dry July, and now all around the signs of a bountiful harvest.

Even the back-garden tree is groaning with plentiful fruit.

Interesting though. The tree leans well over the back fence onto the pathway behind used all the time by schoolchildren coming and going to school. Do youngsters never "scrump" apples these days?
