Time for a close up.

...and the best thing about the West Midlands Safari Park is that you can go again for free the next day.

Which is what we did. Weather was better but greyer this time. Got some good photos of Lemurs, Meercats (never my favourites though), White Tigers (magnificent) and Elephants but the winners for me are the Giraffes. I never thought I would get to feed a giraffe out of the palm of my hand. What an experience.

This photo will not win awards but the out of focus-ness and 'looming-ness' gives the right feeling of how close you need to be to ffed a giraffe.
