Evening

As desperation blips go, this one takes the cake, but it’s the best I could do tonight. I have an excuse but it’s probably not a good one, so I won’t mention it.

This is the view from halfway up the stairs up to my landlord’s deck. It’s kind of a narrow view, but a nice one. It doesn’t take much effort on my part to get to a spot where the view is really, really nice, so I can’t complain. In the left of the picture, just below the peak of the roof, you can see part of the gull family that lives on our neighbor’s roof – I think its mom and one of the kids, and the kid was hungry because it never shut up. It made so much noise that I thought something was wrong but mom had everything under control so all turned out okay.
