HEATHERS:

Winter flowering heathers give you lots of colour in the garden, I love them ! There is still a smokey haze lingering over the lake, so perhaps a few of the farmers are burning further up the valley. At this time of the year, they have to burn bracken, in order to be able to move their stock through. Having been married to a farmer I can understand the complexities of their operation, & I now show lots of tolerance. I love a little bit of smoke - sometimes I think it even 'softens' my blips !

Message for Walking Wombat, you will have to realise because these are Winter flowering, there won't be colour like this in April, and HOPEFULLY (!) no snow on the mountains.
