Small but mighty (and I don't mean the owl)

Today we went to The International Centre for Birds of Prey, it's only just up the road from us and I think I last went there when I was around 8 or 9 years old.
This is a portrait of Jemima the owner and a burrowing owl and although she may be small in stature she is quite a formidable lady, I should imagine she is most definitely the one in the charge around those parts!
Young children were told to 'not run around and shush and listen' as she didn't like trying to talk above the noise.....the adults stayed very quiet too when she was talking!.... She gave a great presentation on this burrowing owl, a funny little chap who kept disappearing down a man-made burrow and then popping his head up another much to Finn's delight who found it hilarious to watch.
She explained that one had made it own burrow and that it was quite a feat given the 'tools' (only it's beak) and was rather like us digging a tunnel from where we were sitting to the lake (a good 200M away) with just a teaspoon. I sat and quietly contemplated that if she had said I had to do it that I probably would have!
