Acorn

Have you ever seen an acorn with such a frilly "bonnet" as cap? The leaves are just plain oak tree leaves and even in my Audubon Society Field Guide to trees this one is not mentioned.

Got another shot of Hyaluronan (here called Orthovisc) in my knee. I mention it because there might be somebody else out there whose knee is bone on bone and painful. This clear gel keeps me walking since nearly 3 years now, painfree most of the time. Doctors are not eager to offer this solution, a new knee is more profitable for them. So I asked for it, as someone had recommended it to me. If it doesn't help it doesn't hurt. I am very happy that I found it.
