Book group.

Time passes so quickly and it is book group again. I was hosting it today, but due to holidays there were only 4 of us.

I haven’t read the bottom 3 books, couldn’t get in to them. The top three I’ve read and enjoyed. The Little Coffee Shop in Kabul was interesting, but having read Cutting for Stone last month which was brilliant, the Coffee Shop lacked punch.

The cloth bag on top is one I made recently to hold a book, reading note book, book marks and other bits & pieces. On our recent holiday I met up with a group of ladies who sewed. One of the ladies from Australia told us how to make this from two fat quarters. Easy when you know how!!
