Grand Place, Brussels

I didn’t have much time to do sightseeing and gift purchasing this morning as it was an early Eurostar back to London, but luckily the hotel wasn’t far from the Grand Place in Brussels. The Grand Place is a square in the centre of Brussels with museums, town hall, restaurants and shop, it is simply beautiful architecture, and it’s even better at night when it’s lit up.

And when the annual carpet of flowers is there, well it truly is amazing! Have a look at this.

I’m glad to be back home, I think the trip has helped me learn a bit more about myself.
