JUST CLEMATIS

Many thanks for all your encouragement yesterday. You are quite right - I want to run now !
In spite of all the weather these Clematis are still surviving in our garden. It has been a grand year for them in the UK.
Now I must catch a little of the glorious sun whilst it is here - photo instruction videos are taking their toll on me. I have to say there is a huge amount of very helpful material out there in cyberspace. Grand idea.

Forgive me . . .

This marvellous floral display is well over a fortnight old. The flowers look as good as the ones that gained five star ratings in a poll in the clematis catalogue. I must fetch my camera and take a shot before Marmalade the pussycat damages them. Cheerio !
Apparently the words in italics form 8 of the 10 words that are disappearing from use in English as more Americanisms come into everyday use. Hmmm . . .
