Thoughtful Thursday: Anticipation

Each year in August I go to a weekend quilting retreat in the local "wine country." Not to be confused with the famous wine growing areas up north, the Temecula Valley produces some award winning wines yet is only 30 minutes away. I look forward to this relaxing weekend all year, and plan the projects I will work on while I am there. The food is fabulous, and the camaraderie among the attendees grows each year, making it a wonderful experience. So much to do to get ready, and scant opportunity to blip. The photo is my "thought process", as I get ready for tomorrow. You see my priorities here: the sewing stuff is already packed in another room, but I have gathered a coffee cup (can't stand drinking from paper or styrofoam) and a bottle of wine with an unbreakable glass. I'm hoping that one bottle will be enough for the weekend...
