for every "round" birthday, I paint a picture of me. It's not necessarily a portrait, just of who I am right then. It wasn't really planned, it just happened after I did it the first time at 20, then decided to repeat the exercise at 30 and, with only a month to go 'til 40, I've started the next one. Inspired, of course, by Roy Lichtenstein. I hope this is something I manage to carry on doing - even I should manage a painting every 10 years :-)
