Hurst spit and castle.

After stopping for coffee and cake in Milford-on-sea, walked the one and a half miles down the pebble spit to hurst castle. Absolutely massive place! Started life in 1541 by that great castle building maniac, Henry the 8th. And occupied right up until the end of WWII. Much extended in Victorian times.

Stopped off for a bit to eat in Lymington before heading back home. Van behaved itself and so did the weather.
