Snow Gums

This is another shot from the iPhone. Would love to take the Nikon out, but it's either skiing or blipping, and just now skiing takes priority.

As you can we haven't had the best weather. It snowed a bit last night and there was a respectable dusting on the deck. But this morning it was raining :-(

Julia and I ventured out for the 9am lesson. Helen postponed hers till 11am, not that it was much better by then. It was probably the wettest days skiing I have ever had, but I kept reasonably dry and didn't get cold. The worst part is the poor visibility - where did that bump come from?

By 3:30 everyone had called it a day and returned to the lodge. Saunas, chess, cards, gluhwein, reading, blipping. Life is still good. And the forecast for the rest of the week is for sunshine, so here's hoping.
