A blast from the past

Visited an Industrial Museum in Paterson, NJ today. It was fascinating to see submarines from the 1800's and antique fire engines. I learned that Paterson's original settlers were industrialists and skilled workers from England.

Samuel Colt manufactured the famous Colt firearms in Paterson and the display included this Colt five-shooter from 1837. (The more famous six-shooter came later). The set included a mold for making your own bullets, a ramrod, a capper and a tool for taking the weapon apart.
