Grey Day

It was a grey one today. I had intended this picture to be a view across the river to the Wallace Monument but the day was so flat that all efforts to tweek the resulting pictures to within an inch of life on PS couldn't produce something worth uploading. So an unexpected shot today.

This brollie seemed to be making a last ditch attempt to escape from the sludge. Still wearing it's cheery colours that can now only be seen when the tide is out. I like to think of it still stubbornly there when the waters stream in and engulf it. It's still up, bright and waving in the water.
