Raecheybaby's Eyes

What gets me through

I bought this book some years ago when I was really struggling with the unfairness of life, Ellen had finished her race at least a year before but I couldn't forget how hard it had been to do this.

I remember the first time I read it, I sat back and just had to ask myself what the heck I was complaining about.

I read it again over the last week or so, and I felt sympathy for her, both of us doing something incredibly hard, which often feels far bigger than we are. I recommend this book to anyone who needs life put back into perspective.

As to yesterday, the phone engineer fixed the line in 10 minutes when he arrived.
