Memories of another a amazing Carfest

I didn't blip yesterday as my phone was out of battery. We spent the morning taking the tent down, packing the cars up and generally being slow! We left the show ground once Miniman declared himself tired so that we could get home to our own beds before the rain set in.

It was an incredible weekend and this us a shot taken from a hot air balloon over the site. You can't quite make our rent out (obviously I know where it is).

I enjoyed waking up on my own bed instead of on an inflatable one on the floor. The rain has indeed lashed down all day and I feel for those who we're leaving today and all the staff who are probably still clearing the site.

I shall now make my way back to that same bed here and remember how lucky I am!
