the Holiday CD's

Another year - another holiday CD; this is how I explained it last year:

One of the most hotly debated issues in my house comes in the weeks, sometimes months, leading up to our summer holiday, namely, what songs will make it onto this year's 'holiday CD'... the home compiled, in car collection of songs that will soundtrack the journeys to, from and around our holiday destination.

This year the music takes in all the usual pre-teen pop for children mixed in a selection that took in Stevie Wonder...Iggy Pop & the Stooges and, err, The Goons.
