Oh! You! Pretty Chitty!

After managing to find Pauline finally in Overton after taking a strange route through single track lanes and at one point having to get out to remove half a fallen tree from across the road we arrived at the camping field entrance. A few trips from the cars down the hill to our chosen spot for the weekend. We watched in awe as the seasoned professional campers erected their tents around us. I won't say we watched and learned but within an hour we had a tent and a pop up larder.

An afternoon was spent exploring, meeting new people from the Carfest 2014 fb page and watching some of the cars. Of course Miniman's favourite was Chitty Chitty, though he has asked me if we can write to Chris Evans and ask if he might buy a Mini Chit for him too. (Chris's son Noah has a mini Chit that was also on show, electric powered and every little boys dream!) .
