Flower princess

We went on our annual visit to the lovely Beth Chatto's garden to the wildlife fair. As always it was really well organised and they had some fantastic stalls offering information on wildlife and with some craft activities for the children. The mini pinks made beeswax candles, pipecleaner snakes, raced snails, and did a treasure hunt amongst the plants. There was also pond dipping, which Miss Pink loved, and she made a flower crown, that she proudly wore all day. Grandma came with us, and we enjoyed seeing the beautiful gardens and flowers. Grandma even treated me to some autumn bulbs that we had seen growing in the woodland garden. They're now in my garden and looking pretty already.
