Mono Monday - Recycling

Essex county Council is very big on recycling: each household has 2 wheelie bins, a green one for garden and food waste ( collected in a small kitchen caddy) and a black one for items that we can't recycle ( frowned upon) In addition, we are supplied with 'mixed' recycling bags, into which we are asked to put paper, card, tins plastic food containers, foil etc. There is a long list of items that cannot be placed here: pet food pouches and crisp packets to name but two! Then there is the blue plastic crate for bottles...

Some times we find that we can recycle items ourselves rather than putting them out for collection: all cat owners will know the attraction of a cardboard box for their furry friends I'm sure!

So here, Tinkerbell and Missy have kindly demonstrated the fun that can be had with one of these slightly tarted up in honour of Mono Monday!

It was hard to choose just one, so today it had to be a collage!
