A busy day

After a good evening out in Bath on Friday night, Saturday was supposed to be a quiet day. It started with a visit to the quarry to collect a couple of diving cylinders - we had cake and tea but left without the cylinders as they weren't ready. It was a beautiful time of day to be there as the water was a stunning colour from the stormy clouds passing over - no photos as the camera was in the car!

We then headed up to Birmingham for a cup of tea and fish 'n chips. Next it was back to Chippenham in time to have a beer or two. The sunset was pretty good too but there were no suitable places to stop.

Therefore after a tiring day, an interesting pint of cider - apples and pears - a little too sweet for the drinker.
