Bricks Work.
One of the odder things we do is to keep an eye open for old bricks stamped with the names of local brickworks. I am sure that the brickworks involved have all gone the way of the dinosaur and the dodo.
Anyway, we found this one last night at South Alloa where I think it had been part of a big load of builders rubble that had been dumped along the shoreline in order to reinforce it.
So this evening I have spent some time bashing lumps out of gently chipping the old cement from this brick. It fair warmed me up on a cool breezy evening.
