Saw Fly Larvae

I decided to have a busy day today catching up with all sorts of outstanding tasks including the gardening. We retirees don't get bank holidays after all :-).

I was wondering what could be stripping all the leaves from our kilmarnock willow when I spotted these. I didn't think they were goodies but looked them up before stamping deciding to dispose of them.
